Zagora Tours and Desert Adventures | Book Online

Located in the enchanting south of Morocco, Zagora is a gateway to the Sahara Desert and a perfect starting point for adventures across dramatic landscapes. With its endless palm groves, lively markets, and charming kasbahs, this town offers an authentic Moroccan experience away from the crowded tourist trails.

A Brief Look at the Past

Zagora has long been a meeting point for traders and travelers. Once an important stopover on the ancient caravan routes that linked Africa and Europe, the town stands as a testament to centuries of cross-cultural exchange and desert resilience.

When to Go

The best time to visit is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these months, the temperatures are mild and perfect for exploring the desert and nearby attractions. The summer months can be extremely hot, while winters are generally cooler and comfortable for touring.

How can I get to Zagora?

Zagora is accessible by bus, car, or guided tour from Marrakech and other major Moroccan cities. The journey itself is scenic, crossing mountains and valleys along the way.

What should I pack for a desert trip?

Light clothing, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and sturdy shoes are essential. Don’t forget a jacket for cooler nights, especially if you plan on staying in the desert.
