Grouse Mountain Hike + Lynn Canyon Park Suspension Bridge
Tour Details
We'll meet at 869 Cordova Street to begin this adventure. Along the way, we’ll pass through Stanley Park and cross the iconic Lions Gate Bridge, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the harbor and the city skyline.
After half an hour, we’ll arrive at the base of Grouse Mountain. There, we’ll put our fitness to the test by completing the famous Grouse Grind hiking trail. It's a 2.5 km (1.5 mi) ascent through lush forests with a steep elevation gain of 800 m (2,624 ft).
Once at the summit, you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time to visit the grizzly bear sanctuary, enjoy local lumberjack or raptor shows, and grab a bite to eat at the mountain cafés. When your free time is up, we’ll meet up again to return to the base via the Grouse Mountain gondola.
Next, we’ll head to Lynn Canyon Park, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the forest. We’ll cross its famous suspension bridge, which stands 50 m (164 ft) high, stroll past Twin Falls, and admire the natural pools along the stream before heading back.
We’ll say goodbye at the starting point after a 7.5-hour day trip.
