Tour Details

We'll meet at Largo Giuseppe Garibaldi, one of the lively squares in Monopoli's old town, to begin our walking tour. Let's discover the charms of this southern Italian city!

We'll make our way through the picturesque narrow streets of the center to reach the Porto Vecchio, where traditional boats and sea views offer one of the city's most iconic sights.

Next, we'll walk along the seafront, stopping outside the Castello di Carlo V—an imposing medieval fortress built on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. We'll continue along the ancient defensive walls, enjoying unique panoramic views of the coast and the town's characteristic white houses.

During the walk, we'll admire the majestic Basilica of the Madonna della Madia, one of the town's most important landmarks. We’ll find out why! Before the tour ends, we'll wander through elegant squares and past arches and flower-filled balconies. They're perfect spots for a photo!

Finally, we'll conclude the tour back at Largo Giuseppe Garibaldi, 1 hour later.
