At the indicated time, we'll meet at 200 South Hill Street, where we'll begin this guided tour of downtown Los Angeles. Are you ready to discover the heart of the city? Let’s go!
First, we'll take a ride on the Angels Flight railway, the shortest in the world. As we explore it, we'll tell you about its role in connecting Bunker Hill to Downtown Los Angeles. Next, we'll head to the iconic Grand Central Market, where we'll discover a wide variety of local food stalls and even exotic fruits.
We'll also pass through the historic theater district. Did you know that the theaters there date back to before World War II? It will be a trip down memory lane! We'll continue the tour until we reach the Bradbury Building, known for its atrium and its ornate iron staircases and elevators.
From there, we'll walk to the Old Bank District, where we'll stroll down Spring Street while discussing the transformations and history of this fascinating neighborhood. Next stop? The opulent jewelry district, the largest jewelry district in the United States. There, we'll see everything from diamonds to the most expensive watches and custom-made pieces. But who pays such high prices? It’ll be impressive!
After a 2-hour tour, we'll wrap up our tour at Pershing Square, the perfect spot to take in the characteristic hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
