Harry Potter Studios with Hotel Pickup Day Trip
Day Trip Details
Have you arrived late at Platform 9¾ to catch the Hogwarts Express and don’t know how to get to Hogwarts? This day trip from London is the best way to visit the Harry Potter Studios!
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and, travelling in a minibus with no more than 8 people per vehicle, we’ll make a leisurely journey to the Warner Bros. Studios in Watford, about an hour’s drive away.
On arrival, the driver will hand you your tickets so that, for 4 hours at your leisure, you can explore the studios and wander at your own pace around the sets where the eight films in the series were shot. Throughout your visit, you’ll see the sets from the Harry Potter films, such as the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, Hagrid’s hut and the Gryffindor common room.
You’ll also find original props from the series, such as the Nimbus 2000 broomstick, Hagrid’s flying motorbike, the stunning crystal chandeliers and the costumes used during filming.
Fans of the young wizard will see their dreams come true as they wander through the Quidditch and Ollivanders shops, Gringotts Bank, Professor Umbridge’s office at the Ministry of Magic, the Potions classroom, and the Lestrange family vault, where Gryffindor’s Sword and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup were kept.
To make your visit even more special, you’ll see how the special effects and animatronics worked during the filming of the films. You’ll also be able to explore the interactive exhibitions and feel like one of the characters yourself. You’ll even be able to have your photo taken on Platform 9¾ with the trolley sticking out of the wall!
At the end of the tour, we’ll meet up again at the studio entrance and take you back to your hotel in London, where we’ll say goodbye after 6 hours full of magic.
