Chicago Private Walking Tour

Discover Chicago at your own pace on this fully customizable private walking tour with a local guide. From iconic landmarks to hidden corners, you'll explore the city exactly the way you want to.

Tour Details

At the designated time, your guide will meet you at your hotel in Chicago. Ready to discover one of America's more diverse and vibrant cities?

Before the tour, your guide will get in touch to talk through your interests and put together an itinerary tailored to you. Whether you're drawn to architecture, history, food, or simply wandering the neighborhoods where everyday Chicago life unfolds, the route is yours to shape.

Depending on what appeals to you most, your guide might take you through Millennium Park to see Cloud Gate, the mirrored sculpture known to everyone here as the Bean, or along the Chicago Riverwalk, where the city's extraordinary skyline is best appreciated from below. You could stroll the Magnificent Mile past the Wrigley Building and Tribune Tower, head down to Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain, or wind through the Loop beneath the rattling tracks of the elevated railway.

You'll also head beyond the obvious sights into the neighborhoods and venues that rarely make the guidebooks, gaining a far deeper sense of the city than you'd manage on your own. Along the way, your guide will share plenty of local knowledge, from where to eat to what's worth your time elsewhere in Chicago.

At the end of the tour, which lasts 2, 4, or 6 hours depending on the option you choose, you'll come away with a deeper knowledge of Chicago and its history, as well as a list of recommendations for the rest of your stay.

Meeting Point

If your accommodation is outside the city center, the local team will arrange a convenient meeting point instead.
